Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Changecast — role-personalized AI product briefings delivered from official sources.
About Changecast
Changecast is a role-personalized AI product briefing service. It monitors official changelogs, release notes, and announcements from 21 leading AI companies — including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Meta AI, and Mistral — and delivers concise, actionable briefings tailored to your professional role. Every briefing tells you what happened, why it matters for your role, and what to do next. The same announcement reads completely differently for an engineer versus a sales leader versus a CFO.
Newsletters like TLDR AI and The Batch deliver the same content to everyone. Changecast personalizes every briefing to your specific role — an engineer gets API details and code examples while a sales leader gets competitive positioning and GTM implications from the exact same announcement. Changecast also focuses exclusively on first-party, official AI company sources, filtering out third-party commentary and speculation.
Changecast monitors official announcements from 21 leading AI companies, including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT, GPT-4o), Google DeepMind (Gemini), Meta AI (Llama), Mistral, Cohere, Perplexity, xAI (Grok), Stability AI, Hugging Face, and more. We track their changelogs, release notes, API documentation, GitHub repositories, and official blogs — only first-party sources, never third-party commentary.
Changecast is a web application, not a newsletter. You browse your personalized briefings on-demand in a dashboard experience, similar to a news reader. This lets you filter by company, topic, or impact level and gives you a searchable history of AI changes — something a newsletter inbox cannot provide.
Changecast offers a free tier that gives you access to core briefings. Paid plans unlock deeper personalization, more companies, team-wide access, and enterprise features like compliance-focused briefings and API access. Early access is available now — sign up at changecast.ai to get your spot.
How It Works
During onboarding, you select your professional role. Changecast's AI extraction pipeline then rewrites each announcement briefing for your role — emphasizing what actually matters to you and skipping what doesn't. Every briefing is structured around three questions: what changed, why it matters for your role, and what action to take. An API deprecation notice reads very differently to an engineer versus a compliance officer versus a sales leader.
Changecast monitors sources continuously. New briefings appear as announcements are published by AI companies — typically within hours of an official release. You can check your dashboard any time for the latest updates, or configure notification preferences for high-impact announcements.
Changecast supports 18 professional role categories including software engineering, product design, sales, marketing, customer experience, finance, legal, healthcare, real estate, education, human resources, operations, leadership, consulting, insurance, retail, media, and travel. Each role receives briefings written specifically for their concerns, responsibilities, and level of technical depth.
Yes. Changecast uses an AI extraction pipeline to generate role-specific briefings from official announcements. The AI is grounded strictly in first-party source content — it does not speculate or add information not present in the original announcement. Every briefing links back to the original source so you can always read the full context.
After signing in, you can select which AI companies and sub-products you want to follow from your profile settings. You can track Anthropic's Claude API separately from Claude.ai, for example, or follow only the companies relevant to your organization's AI stack.
For Specific Teams
Engineers receive briefings that surface API changes, SDK releases, deprecation notices, rate limit updates, and new capabilities with technical depth. Instead of scanning changelogs and GitHub release notes across 21 AI companies, engineers get a single consolidated feed with the details that matter — model IDs, token limits, endpoint changes, and migration guides — plus a clear action item so you know exactly what to update or test.
Product managers receive briefings focused on capability changes, new product features, pricing shifts, and competitive positioning — each with a concrete action item. Changecast tells you what the announcement means for your roadmap, which competitor capabilities just changed, and whether you need to update your plans, reprioritize a feature, or brief your team today.
Sales and GTM professionals receive briefings written around competitive dynamics, pricing changes, new use cases, and customer-relevant capabilities — without the engineering jargon. When OpenAI ships a new enterprise feature or Anthropic adjusts pricing, Changecast gives your team the talking points: what changed, why it matters competitively, and exactly what to say to customers who ask about it.
Executive briefings strip away technical implementation details and focus on strategic implications: market positioning shifts, capability milestones, regulatory developments, and what competitors' AI investments mean for your business. A CEO or CISO gets the signal, not the noise — enough to ask informed questions and make strategic decisions without needing to read the engineering docs.
Yes. Legal and compliance briefings focus on terms-of-service changes, data handling policy updates, usage policy amendments, and regulatory announcements from AI companies. When Anthropic updates its acceptable use policy or OpenAI changes data retention terms, your legal team gets a clear summary of what changed and what it may mean for your organization's AI usage agreements.
